The Project: French luxury brand Cartier came looking for a new an innovative way to display their latest line of watches and jewellery, while still harkening back to the classic themes of Cartier’s heritage. The finished display pieces were destined for the high street windows of some of the leading department stores in the world, including Selfridges in London.
How we did it: Starting with photographs from Cartier’s advertising archives, our designers created digital 3D models of iconic Cartier silouettes. These were then printed and finished to achieve a luxurious finish, worthy of a high end brand. Our designers and engineers even created an innovative way to display watches using the strength and tension inherent to certain 3D printing materials.
