The project: The November 2018 issue of the Norwegian Airline inflight magazine was going to feature a section on the cities of the future. The way they wanted to represent it on the magazine’s cover was to have a 3D printed cityscape. They contacted iMakr to design and print for them.
How we did it: An initial sketch was provided by Ink’s art director to give our designer a feel for the effect they were looking for. Light and shadows were really important so each design iteration was rendered and used as a communication support between iMakr’s designer and Ink’s art director.
Once a final design was approved, it was printed and sent for the photoshoot.
