The Project: Our client, an undisclosed video production company was aiming at shooting the 3D printing of a UEFA football cup.
How we did it: The full trophy would took an entire week to print, hence was not a practical solution. Therefore we worked with the production manager to decide what sections of the cup to print in order to have different shots representing the printing process. A full size cup was also printed for the final shot of the printing, so we printed it in parts and used our artistic department ‘s expert skills to seamlessly put the parts together. The full cup was then sent to chroming specialists to obtain the most realistic surface finish one could have wanted.
